This piece, which I created in my early youth, belonged to my mother, who passed away in 2017. She was the one who enrolled me in my first stained glass class when I was a teenager. She also was my first my first patron.

Even back then, I was experimenting with different visual effects to move stained glass beyond its static flatness. This piece incorporates bas-relief, layering, 3D effects, appliqué, and ornamental soldering. All of this is in a style reminiscent of Art Nouveau, but with a twist.
